COMPANY BACKGROUND
Majestic Engineering Sdn Bhd (MESB) was established in 1992, marking its entry into the Malaysian industrial landscape as a Bumiputera majority-owned company. From its inception, the company’s core business has been firmly rooted in Railway Engineering and its associated fields.
This sustained focus for over three decades, as of 2025, signifies a deep commitment and accumulated expertise in a highly specialized and critical Railway Engineering field. The Bumiputera status is also noteworthy, aligning MESB with Malaysia’s socio-economic development policies aimed at fostering indigenous entrepreneurship and capabilities in strategic industries.
The foundational strength of MESB can be significantly attributed to its leadership. Key individuals, with extensive experience spanning over two to three decades in Railway Engineering, particularly involving Rolling Stock, have been instrumental in the establishment and development of the company since its inception. MESB was indeed conceived and built upon a robust understanding of the railway sector’s technical intricacies, market demands and operational challenges.
CORPORATE VISION & MISSION
Vision
MESB envisions to be the first Bumiputera company that has the capability and capacity to undertake Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) works on Railway Rolling Stock either as a whole or specifically involving components such as Traction Motors, Transformers, Generators, Bogies and other Electrical Rotating Motors while prioritizing sustainable practices in compliance to the Environmental, Social and Governance principles.
Mission
Our mission is to be the best in the field of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of Railway Traction Motors and Electrical Rotating Motors. Our goal is to execute MRO with total commitment to Quality, Safety & Environmental Management. We are also dedicated in integrating Environmental, Social & Governance principles to minimize our Environmental impact, foster positive Social landscape and uphold the highest standards of Governance.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
MOHAMED SUHAINI BIN ABDULLAH
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Graduated with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in 1984 from University of Malaya and received his Diploma in Public Administration from National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) in 1988.
Accumulated over 30 years of working experience with slightly more than 10 years serving the Government, mostly in the Diplomatic & Administrative Service. Served in the Prime Minister’s Department since 1988 and as Second Secretary at the Malaysian High Commission in London from 1991 to 1995.
During tenure of service, had attended Foreign Service Course for Junior Asean Diplomat in INTAN / Manila, the Philippine and the Japanese Friendship Programme in Japan.
Had over 20 years experience in the railway engineering fields particularly those related to Rolling Stock. Co-developed Majestic Engineering Sdn. Bhd. from 1996 and was involved in various negotiations leading to the issuance of several Letter of Awards for the Supply of Railway Rolling Stock projects and MRO of Railway Rolling Stock Components such as Traction Motors and Bogies.
WEE CHONG KWANG
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Graduated with Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from University Technology of Malaysia in 1984.
Served KTM Berhad (KTMB) in various positions from 1984 – 1992 with last post as Plant & Machinery Manager, Sentul Works. During tenure of service with KTMB, had attended various courses, the main one being a four months Technical Training in the field of Maintenance, Inspection and Manufacturing of Diesel Electric Locomotive and Passenger Coach at Mito, Hitachi and Kasado Works in Japan.
Had over 30 years experience in the Railway Engineering fields particularly those related to Rolling Stock Instrumental in setting up and developing Majestic Engineering Sdn. Bhd. from 1993 until now with main focus in Railway Engineering and related fields. Involved in various negotiations leading to the issuance of several Letter of Awards for the Supply of Railway Rolling Stock projects and MRO of Railway Rolling Stock Components such as Traction Motors and Bogies.
MOHAMED REZA TARMIZI BIN MOHAMED SUHAINI
DIRECTOR
Graduated from the Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) of Malaysia with Diploma in Information Technology in 2005 and Bachelor in Computer Science (System & Networking) in 2010. Had received Award for Best Diploma Student in 2005.
Accumulated about 10 years of working experience in the fields of Information Technology performing tasks such as System Maintenance and Troubleshooting Hardware and Software problems.
Currently undergoing trainings to be a qualified Safety and Health Officer.
ROSNINAZRI BIN ABDUL WAHID
CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
Graduated with Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) in 2002 from University of Technology Malaysia. Accumulated over 20 years of working experience in various Engineering fields, in particular, Railway Engineering.
Served as Service Engineer at Maser (M) Sdn Bhd from 2002 – 2003; served KTM Berhad (KTMB) as Senior Manager from 2003 – 2012; served as Project Manager at Scomi Rail Berhad on 2012; served as Deputy Manager at Land Public Transport Commission
from 2012 – 2018; and served as Senior Engineer at K.L. Consult Associates Sdn Bhd from 2018 – 2024.
MUHAMMAD RIDHWAN BIN ROSLAN
WORKS MANAGER
Graduated from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) of Malaysia in 2007 with Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Hons.).
Had accumulated over 15 years of working experience in the engineering fields involving managing and coordinating engineering projects; up keeping the production processes; and performing on-site servicing and product sales.
Currently serve as Works Manager after almost 15 years of service with MESB since 2010, tasked with the overall management of the MESB Traction Motor Workshop in Bangi. Successfully led MESB to various certifications & recognitions, namely, IRIS ISO/TS 22163:2017 (Railway Business & Quality Management) in 2023; ISO 45001:2018 (OS&H Management) in 2022; ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) certification in 2016; SIRIM 12:2017 (Lean Management) certification in 2020; SIRIM 5:2016 (Green 5-S) in 2017; and 5-Star Achievement for 5S Quality Environment recognition in 2015.
